Neck pain

Do you have pain or discomfort while sitting in your office chair, leaning your head down to tie your shoes, or attempting to find a comfortable sleeping posture at night?

If this is the case, physiotherapy can be beneficial. According to the APTA, nearly one-third of the population suffers from this pain each year. The neck is an essential aspect of your daily movements, and neck pain can make regular chores that you normally accomplish with ease difficult. If left untreated, it can lead to significant issues that may necessitate surgical repair. An orthopaedist can better give the best potential therapies for neck discomfort if they first identify the cause. Many patients see orthopaedic care as the gold standard for managing neck pain. Because orthopaedists are specifically educated to deal with issues with the musculoskeletal system — the network of muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments, and bones that support your body and allow movement – issues involving the musculoskeletal system frequently cause neck pain.

If you have been suffering from this pain, do not hesitate to contact one of our specialist orthopaedists. We have a highly skilled orthopaedist who is well versed in the skeleton and its structures.

Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain can arise in a variety of ways. Maybe you sense pain in your shoulder as you try to get into a comfortable sleeping position, or maybe you notice it when you reach for a glass from your top cabinet. Whatever form your shoulder pain takes, it's no secret that it physically limits your life. We can help you manage your pain, whether it is acute or chronic. No matter how bad your shoulder pain is our physiotherapy treatments can help. Physiotherapy is painless, non-invasive, and safe. If you have been suffering from shoulder pain limiting your everyday activities, contact us for physiotherapy practice and find out how we can help!

During your initial session, you will be subjected to a thorough evaluation to identify the extent of your problem and your needs. This could entail a battery of tests to determine the best course of treatment. Our physiotherapist may advise us to have X-rays to see if there are any dislocations or evidence of arthritis. Range of motion tests may also be performed to determine which of your soft tissues is causing your pain. After our physiotherapist has established your treatment plan, you will begin focusing on specific exercises, stretches, and modalities. Gentle exercises have been shown to alleviate the stiffness of frozen shoulders and ease the discomfort of osteoarthritis in treatment regimens for shoulder pain. Strengthening training can also be used to assist repair injured muscles or stabilizing a dislocated shoulder.

Our physiotherapists are licensed and committed to creating the most tailored treatment plan for your specific needs. Indeed, many of our patients have reported experiencing relief and progress after only a few short physiotherapy sessions — and sometimes even less! If shoulder pain is interfering with your life, please contact us as soon as possible to schedule an appointment. We will manage and cure your disease so that you can return to your normal life as soon as possible!

Foot & Ankle Pain

Is it painful for you to take the stairs, commute to work, or walk long distances?

We all spend a lot of time on our feet and ankles during the day and pain in these regions can severely restrict our everyday activities. Your feet and ankles are both intricately designed structures. The ankle joint comprises three bones that must interact with one another correctly, as well as different connective tissues that hold the joint assembly together. Everything must work in unison for your feet and ankles to function effectively. While both structures are complicated in their own right, the foot is considerably more so than the ankle. The foot comprises about two dozen bones, 30 joints, and more than 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Because the feet and ankles are so complex, it is typical for people to develop injuries there, resulting in physical limits.

Our SpineX Physio Care are prepared to address any acute or chronic foot or ankle ailment you may be experiencing. We will perform a thorough evaluation to determine the source of your discomfort, and then we will build a tailored treatment plan based on your specific needs. With an acute injury, you will most likely be prescribed R.I.C.E. (rest, ice, compression, and elevation) treatment for the first several days to ensure that all swelling has subsided.

Hip Pain

Do you feel that your hips are unstable and could collapse at any time, or do you feel pains in such regions make daily duties difficult?

The hip joint is a ball-and-socket joint that supports your upper body weight. Hips allow you to stand, walk, run, dance and rely on various muscles and tissues to operate and move properly, and if not anything is operating properly, you may have hip pain.

We will examine your hips for structural injury and your gait, stance, posture, and range of motion. This will help collect vital information to develop the best possible treatment plan for your specific needs. Treatment strategies will prioritize pain relief, normalizing joint function, and reducing abnormal stresses on your hips. Your treatment plan will include specific stretches and exercises to strengthen any weak hip issues. Additional therapies, such as ice and heat therapy, massage therapy, laser therapy, or our physiotherapist may recommend other soft tissue treatments.

These are intended to relieve your discomfort and promote the repair of your injured hip and/or knee issues. Schedule a visit with us if you have been hindered by hip pain. We will show you the finest ways to get rid of your discomfort so you can get back to living your life!

Knee Pain

Is it tough for you to stand up after sitting for an extended time?

Knee discomfort can range from starting to slow you down to suffering after running or participating in sports. It can be so severe and debilitating that it affects every aspect of your life and forces you to give up many of your favourite hobbies, such as jogging and walking. Many people believe that their knee pain will go away, only to discover that it is still present the next day. Many people experience knee pain for more than 6 months before giving in and seeking a remedy to their knee discomfort.

The following are some of the most common reasons for knee pain:

  • Cartilage injuries: Cartilage injuries can have an impact on the knees. Bursitis is a specific ailment that affects the knee joint due to inflammation of the bursa sacs.
  • Acute injuries, such as sprains, strains, and dislocations, are prevalent in knees.
  • Injuries caused by overuse. Overuse injuries such as muscular strains and tendinitis are common.
  • Referred pain: Because the nerve runs through both areas, discomfort may develop due to transferred pain from a pinched sciatic nerve.

Contact us right away, if you have one of the conditions listed above or another issue causing your hip or knee pain. It is no secret that hip and knee pain can limit your everyday activities.

Physiotherapy allows you to relieve pain in the simplest, safest, and most comfortable method. Contact us once if your foot or ankle discomfort interferes with your daily life!

Headaches & Migraines

Migraines and headaches can produce mild to severe pain that can continue for hours or days.

One of the most common types of pain experienced by people is headaches. Millions of people suffer from headaches regularly. Physiological, environmental, and genetic factors can all contribute to headaches. In many circumstances, frequent daily headaches are caused by lifestyle habits or changes in a person's daily routine. This could be due to missing meals, a lack of sleep, stress, or not having a stimulant to which one is addicted, such as coffee. Often, genetic headaches are more severe or chronic.

Migraines are moderate to severe headaches with additional symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, difficulty speaking, and sensitivity to light and noise. Migraines are often felt on only one side of the head and can last a few hours to a few days. Migraines are diagnosed based on clinical history, symptoms, and family genetics, as they are inherited. Hormone fluctuations, stress, specific foods, coffee, drugs, smoking, and skipping meals can cause migraines. Migraines can also be brought on by psychological reasons such as stress, hunger, PTSD, or hormonal changes. A Migraine attack typically begins with a dull discomfort that becomes increasingly acute, especially when physical activity is involved. An episode can last 4 hours or more, and it might last days in difficult situations. Our practitioners will thoroughly analyse you with regular medical, Orthopaedic, and unique Osteopathic examinations before determining the optimal answer for your specific tension headache treatment plan.

Our allied health practitioners, which include Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, and Podiatrists, provide expert care to address the source of your problem and suffering. We will manage and cure your disease so that you can return to your normal life as soon as possible!
